Damn it.

Sage Karam isn't on that list. Your list is invalid. Karem probably belongs at #2.

Fun fact, I walked right by this photoshoot.

Refer to the note concerning Parker Klingerman. Someone must be driving something to be considered a driver.

Karam is under contract with Ganassi and is racing sports cars. He'll race Petit Le Mans and has run a number of IMSA races this year as well as finishing I believe 8th in the Indy 500

Is Madison Snow over 24? That dude is good also

Relevant

More relevant than someone in the NASCAR Truck series.

I feel like Jordan Taylor should probably be on your list as well. While you're ready to dismiss the reigning Grand Am champion and currently second in this year's championship don't forget he's a GM factory driver who has raced at Le Mans a number of years in a row. He'll be racing for Corvette at the WEC CotA race this fall. He's racing a Camaro at VIR this weekend. So yeah. He's missing along with Karam.

No he is not and he is damn good.

I'll but Jordan Taylor on, but not Sage, as I love how seriously you are taking this.

Newgarden above Logano? Huh? Logano has won at every level he's been in, was dominant in the lower tier late model and Nascar ranks, and has multiple wins in Sprint Cup. Newgarden been in position to sniff a win *once* before his team botched a pit stop in a series that falls below the Truck series in terms of talent.
Bayne above Darrell Wallace, again, huh? Bayne has a lucky Daytona 500 win to his name, and then 4-5 years of running Roush equipment in the nationwide series with practically nothing to show for it. He was parked for a number of races by Roush for lack of performance in the car, and was pretty summarily trounced by Ricky Stenhouse, whos's struggled to run in the top 30 in cup the past 2 years.
The Dillons have proven that they can be competitive in weak series when they have a huge equipment advantage: IE Trucks and ARCA. Austin won the Nationwide title last year with zero wins, and has done nothing in cup, Ty can't even match that. Not sure why you'd even list them. If their sugar daddy relative's last name was "Smith" instead of "Childress" they'd be wrecking mid pack nationwide rides.
Rossi and Daly have proven that they can hang around a euro open wheel paddock and not embarrass themselves, not exactly a competitive situation though.

Ranking the top young American NASCAR drivers is almost like ranking the top young male NFL players.

Is it an in joke that no one on here seems to be able to spell Parker Kligerman's name?

I was going to ask about Graham Rahal, as a joke, but I see he is 25.

I would move John Hunter Nemechek and Ben Rhodes in replace of Ty and Austin Dillon. Both are only 16/17 yrs old respectively with JHN not finishing lower than 15 in the truck starts he has made this year ( would have been higher except for German Quiroga) and just got a 6th in the race today at Bristol. Ben Rhodes has been setting the K&N series on fire this year, leading the points and has shot off 5 wins this season. Also got a top 10 at Bristol

Conor Daly*

I won't know how to spell his name until it appears on the position ticker during a race.

- No Spencer Pigot
- No Matthew Brabham
- No John Edwards
All this list says is you watch a lot of racing on TV.

The list is of the BEST drivers.

Trevor Bayne is Derrick Cope for the 21st Century, and the Dillon brothers are the reason it is now called RICHard CHILDress Racing.

Implying thats not why they're last on the list
![]() 08/22/2014 at 09:36 |

#6 Trevor Baine - Do you mean the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series / Nationwide driver? If so it's Trevor Bayne. And I'm not even a NASCAR fan (at all) but the kid won the Daytona 500 as a rookie and became the youngest driver to win the Daytona 500, and you have him at #6? I would think he'd crack the top 3 with that stat alone.

Joey Logano, better than Kyle Larson? I don't believe. and LOL at the Dillon brothers. Have you not heard of Rico Abreu?
